SharonBennerFineArt: My painting journey began in the 1980's with classes and workshops at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis, Md. I continue to study with and paint alongside artists I admire. My artwork is designed to evoke feelings of a peaceful moment in time at a place of beauty using Nature's rich and vast colors as inspiration. My paintings are created in either oils or pastels and capture the light, color and mood of a scene in a loose impressionistic style. I'm a devoted plein air painter and paint in small towns and parks in Central and Southern Pa.
