MAPLES, BOILING SPRINGS by Sharon Benner
Boiling Springs was rainy on this day in October, 2010. I sat in the back of my van in a beach chair with the hatch up and painted for a couple hours. The red maples really popped with local color against the dark grey sky. You can vew more of my paintings at my show in Hanover at http://www.hanoverareaarts.com/.

MOSSY CABIN, ALLENBERRY by Sharon Benner
The Mossy Shed, 6 x 8, oil, was painted in the morning at Allenberry Resort and Inn during one of SVPAP's group paint-outs. The light was coming through the wooded area and illuminated this tiny relic of a shed with a hole in the roof and lots of moss growing. EARLY FALL COLORS BY SHARON K BENNER
Painted at Pine Grove Furnace State Park in late October with the SVPAP. The 11 x 14 work was painted without brushes using only oil paint and a pallet knife. This method allows me to paint quickly and I can keep the paint clean and fresh. sharonbennersart@yahoo.com SharonKBennerFineArt.blogspot.com
